ANQA Grout GP

ANQA Grout GP

General Purpose, Non-shrink cementitious grout

DESCRIPTION:
Grout GP is a high strength, nonmetallic, Portland cement-based material with expansive additives designed for grouting steel columns, bearing plates, precast concrete, and anchoring applications.

ADVANTAGES:
-Typical applications for GROUT GP include grouting of:
- Steel columns
- Bearing plates
- Precast concrete
- Keyway Grouting
- Other anchoring or void filling conditions that require high strength. The non-shrink characteristics of Non-Shrink General Purpose Grout make it stable and capable of handling high load transfers.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Surface preparation: The appropriate personal protective equipment should be worn. All grouting surfaces should be clean and free of foreign substances including any corrosion present on steel. Remove all spalled areas and areas of unsound concrete. Preparation work on the grouting surfaces should be completed using high-pressure water blasting, breakers, hammers, or other appropriate mechanical methods to ensure a properly prepared surface. Saturate the repair area with clean water before grouting to ensure a saturated surface-dry (SSD) condition. No standing water should be left in the prepared area.
Mixing: Anqa Grout GP should be mechanically mixed for a minimum of 5 minutes. Add only the amount of water required to achieve the desired flow for the application. Place the grout quickly and continuously, using proper consolidation techniques (e.g., light rodding, vibrating, tamping, etc.) to eliminate air bubbles.
Priming: It is recommended to use a suitable SBR-based primer, such as ANQA SBR-40, as a primer coat before grouting with Anqa Grout GP.

Curing: A damp cure of at least 3 days is necessary to control the non-shrink characteristics and maintain strength levels.

PRECAUTIONS:
- Additions of cement or other materials will eliminate the designed product qualities
- Water quantities may be affected by temperature, mixing method and batch size
- Anqa Grout GP should not be re-tempered
- Mix no more grout than can be placed in 30 minutes
- Anqa Grout GP Grout temperature should be maintained from 50 to 90 °F (10 to 32 °C)
- Follow ACT 30JR when using product in hot weather
- Follow ACI 306R when using product in cold weather
- Use a consistent water temperature, when mixing multiple batches, to prevent performance fluctuations.

COVERAGE:
Each 25 Kg bag will yield 16 Liters flowable consistency, 13 liters at trowelable consistency

SUPPLY:
25 Kg bag / 48 bag/pallet

SHELF LIFE:
12 months for unopened containers, use old first.

HEALTH & SAFTEY:
ANQA Grout GP can be harmful to skin as it contains cement powders which may releases alkalis when mixed with water. During application, wear appropriate protective clothing, goggles, gloves and respiratory equipment if necessary. In case of contact with skin, rinse with water and again wash thoroughly with soap and water.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice accordingly.
If ingested, obtain medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting.
