DESCRIPTION:
ANQA 130 G membrane is manufactured with a higher grade of bitumen, APP polymers, additives, spun-bonded, non-woven polyester reinforcement (130 gsm). ANQA 130 G demonstrates excellent waterproofing performance characteristics designed to meet the diverse demands of waterproofing applications. ANQA 130 G membrane forms a water resistant blanket and withstands normal structural movement.
ADVANTAGES:
- Consistent tensile strength and elongation to withstand dynamic movements in structures.
- High impact strength, resistance to tears and punctures.
- Stability at high temperatures.
- Resistance to salts and waterborne chemicals.
- Reliable bonding ability and seam integrity with fast, easy, and clean application.
USES:
Recommended to avoid risks of damp and water leakage in:
- Concrete Roof And Floor Slabs
- Basements
- Foundations
- Swimming Pools
- Fountains
- Drain Gutters
- Bathrooms
- Reservoirs
- Bridges
- Tunnels
- Sub-grade Structures
- Car Park Deck Slabs
APPLICATION METHOD:
Surface Cleaning: All surfaces should be smooth, clean and dry. Ensure it is free of nails, grease, dust, debris, oil, and protruding elements.
Priming: Apply one coat of primer and we recommend to use Anqa prime D41. Allow the primer coat to dry until it is tack-free. Prior to the application of the membrane, all surfaces must be re-primed if left uncoated for more than 24 hours.
Application: The membrane is unrolled and placed in the correct position. Each roll must overlap the sides by at least 10 cm, while slowly unrolling the membrane the surface is lightly heated by means of a propane gas torch causing surface melting and subsequent adhesion to the surface. End joints require a minimum overlap of 15 cm.
APPLICATION TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT:
- Propane gas torch with related gas cylinder
- Knife/cutter
- Trowel with a rounded tip
- Measuring Tape
- Fire Extinguisher
STORAGE
Store under a roof, keeping the rolls covered on pallets. Protect from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, and stack in a vertical position. Avoid stacking pallets on top of each other.
