DESCRIPTION:
Anqa SBR-40 is a styrene butadiene co-polymer latex liquid. It is used as a polymer modifier for concrete / cement mortar for waterproofing and repairs of spalled concrete.

ADVANTAGES:
• Provides good adhesion to substrates
• Provides good resistance to water and moisture vapor transmission
• Reduces the water/cement ratio
• Good slip resistance when applied over screed
• Reduce shrinkage cracks and improves flexural strength
• Enhance abrasion resistance

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
- For bonding of new to old concrete, tile bedding and fixing of slip bricks.
- Waterproofing in basements, swimming pools, potable water tanks, sludge tanks & ducts, tunnels and underpasses.
- Polymer modifier for floor screed
- Apply by roller, brush or airless spray gun.
Surface preparation: Surfaces where Anqa SBR-40 mixes are applied must be clean, sound, and free of loose particles. Remove all laitance, oil, grease, mold oil, and curing compounds from the surface. Ensure that the exposed reinforcing steel is clean and free from scale and rust. When repairing damaged concrete, ensure that the concrete has been cut back to thoroughly sound material.
As bonding coat: surfaces must be thoroughly dampened before application and excess water must be removed. Apply Anqa-SBR as a priming coat before applying plaster or screed. Let the coat of Anqa-Bond SBR to be tacky enough before applying the plaster or screed.
As waterproofing coat: surfaces must be thoroughly dampened before application and excessed water must be removed. Mix two parts of ordinary Portland cement with one part Anqa SBR-40, and apply one coat with brush

COVERAGE:
Approximately 0.3-0.4 kg/m2, exact covering rate depends on the porosity and smoothness of the surface.
